DARA mobile application
Powerful yet easy to use mobile application for complete lighting setup, remote control, firmware update and network management.
DARA Mobile Application allows you to make settings directly from a mobile device: set the desired light intensity (dim level), switch the light on/off, group a set of luminaires together, apply the same settings at once, define scenarios for automated functioning and many more. You can identify and connect lamps, sensors and devices and manage customized scenarios in a mesh.
Dimming Control
Light control for individual luminaires or groups:
Set the desired dim level (intensity);
Turn the luminaires on/off.
Set the desired CCT*
Set the desired light color*
The groups can contain luminaires controlled by different DARA devices connected in the DARA mesh.
Lamps and Groups
Each luminaire shows friendly icons for their properties: DALI dimmable, PI-LED or Tunable White. DARA controls both DT6 and DT8 luminaires.
Create groups and assign luminaires controlled by different DARA devices connected in the DARA mesh.
Scenes
The scene feature allows the user to create light presets for luminaires or groups of luminaires, using various combinations of intensity, HCL value* on a seasonal/direct/indirect curve, color temperature or RGB, to match rest, leisure or working activities.
Scenes can be applied
on the spot using Run command in the app;
pressing a button on the switch;
or can be programmed using the scenarios feature.
*This feature requires luminaires that are PI-LED*, RGB* or Tunable White** enabled.
Scenarios
Users are able to configure scenarios for individual luminaires or groups of luminaires to set a starting hour and day for various types of scenes, e.g. turn-on, turn-off, set CCT, RGB or HCL scene, in combination with light intensity.
Scenarios run automatically, as configured, without any other user action. The lighting system can go to “auto-pilot”.
HCL effect during the day can be obtained in a combination of HCL scene included in a scenario.*
*This feature requires luminaires that are HCL enabled (PI-LED or Tunable White).
Sensors
The scene feature allows the user to create light presets for luminaires or groups of luminaires, using various combinations of intensity, HCL value* on a seasonal/direct/indirect curve, color temperature or RGB, to match rest, leisure or working activities.
Motion control: set all parameters needed to configure the lighting system’s response when motion is detected.
Use a friendly slider on the graph or advanced menu to enter values.
*This feature requires DALI-2 sensors

Light control: sensor calibration could not be easier.
Enter manually the needed quantity of light in LUX or let the sensor measure it.

Switch
Use kinetic, powerless and battery-less switches for light control – set the desired actions for a short or long press on the button, such as:
turn on/off a luminaire or group of luminaires;
set a light scene;
dim up/down on long press;
warm/cool the light on long press.
*This feature requires using Easyfit BLE Switches by EnOcean.
Human Centric Lighting
Nowadays, most of the people stay too much indoor, facing what is called light pollution, being too much exposed to artificial light. HCL simulates the sunlight in our indoor environment by having the luminaires radiating the
light according to the time of the day. HCL effect during the day can be obtained in a combination of HCL scene included in a scenario.
*This feature requires luminaires that are HCL enabled (PI-LED or Tunable White).
Tunable white control
Light color temperature can be adjusted to reflect the need or mood of the user: simply slide to select the desired value.
The light provided by single luminaries or groups can be changed from warm to cold, in a dynamic range, as supported by the luminaires.
*This feature requires luminaires that are Tunable White enabled.
Color control
Any color is a combination of red, green and blue colors; same is for light.
Color control gives to the user the possibility to design the light in any space: pick a color from the XY triangle or simply slide the desired R | G | B value.
*This feature requires luminaires that are PI-LED or RGB enabled.
Photo features
Use the color picker*, a handy tool when the desired color or CCT is available in a photo library or can be replicated using the live camera function.
Select color presets** for various types of moods or goods.
Preset scenes are included in the application to improve usability and well-being.
Replicate or endorse colors
While using the photo features, a user is able to:
Replicate the color from a photo/live camera – apply RGB;
Endorse the color from a photo/live camera, as the system is able to determine the perfect color temperature needed to put a desired object in the perfect light – apply CCT.
*This feature requires luminaires that are PI-LED*, RGB* or tunnable white** enabled.
